Sintela participates at EGU Fiber Optic Sensing in Geosciences 2024
Sintela, leaders in fiber optic Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS), participated at the EGU Fiber Optic Sensing in Geosciences event, that took place in Catania, Italy, from 16-20 June 2024.
The conference aims to foster discussions among the diverse community involved and relevant to this field, including geoscientists, photonic experts, instrument manufacturers and fiber optic network providers. The ambition of the conference is to identify pathways for leveraging fiber optic networks and fibre optic sensing tools to improve resilience and sustainability in our modern Society.
During the event Sintela showcased its distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) ONYX™ Peta solution. ONYX provides wide area seismic acquisition for earthquakes, volcanoes, the Cyrosphere and Seafloor monitoring, and delivers unrivalled real-time gapless monitoring performance for large area geophysical measurements.
Also, Dr David Hill, Chief Technology Officer at Sintela, presented a poster session on ‘Practical Considerations for Field Deployable DAS Systems‘ in Day One’s Session 1: Fiber Optic Sensing – Principles, Techniques and Solutions.
To discuss your fiber sensing technology requirements and arrange to see a demo, please email info@sintela.com. We look forward to connecting with you.
