Job Title – Field Engineer

Job Location – Poundbury Dorset, or Bristol (Hybrid Working Model)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Engineer. The candidate must have previous experience with DAS (Distributed Acoustic Sensing). You will be responsible for installation, commissioning, and support for our Sintela products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare for installations and trials
  • Support our partners to install, commission and understand the DAS data they have.
  • Analyse data with multiple signal processing techniques
  • Configure and tune all detection algorithms within the Sintela Software
  • Perform and lead customer Site Acceptance Tests (SAT’s)
  • Perform comprehensive quality control for recorded data
  • Maintain customer relations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a related field. A Master’s degree would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience as a Field Engineer, with a significant track record in the technology or fiber-optic industry.
  • Ability to work flexibly and travel around the world when required.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager. The candidate must have previous experience with DAS (Distributed Acoustic Sensing). You will lead the development of Sales and Business Development for all Sintela products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a customer focused growth plan for Sintela’s solutions that optimally positions Sintela for revenue and margin generation.
  • Build strong personal relationships with new customers across all sectors in particular Oil, Gas & Mining.
  • Once new customers have been acquired maintain strong relationships so that their needs are immediately met.
  • Represent Sintela at key industry events.
  • Make sales presentations to prospective customers
  • Respond to RFQ’s with a detailed proposal that sets out Sintela’s unique selling points (USP’s) and illustrates how they address each customers unique needs

Requirements

Job Title – Mining Geophysicist – DFOS Technology Specialist

Job Location – UK, US or Worldwide – Hybrid/Remote Working

Employment Type – Full Time

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated mining geophysicist with expertise in DFOS technology to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing, implementing and promoting DFOS solutions for mining applications. Client satisfaction and understanding their needs will be at the forefront of your responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and implement DFOS systems deployed in mining operations 
  • Conduct field surveys and data collection using DFOS technology. 
  • Analyze and interpret DFOS data to provide actionable insights for mining operations. 
  • Actively engage with clients to understand their needs and requirements, ensuring our solutions are tailored to meet their specific challenges 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DFOS solutions into existing mining processes. 
  • Promote DFOS technology through presentations and technical reports. 
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in DFOS and geophysical/geotechnical engineering. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in geophysics, mining, or a related field. 
  • Experience with instrumentation, including DFOS technology and applications in mining. 
  • Proficiency in Geophysical methods with strong understanding of geophysical seismic survey techniques and passive microseismic monitoring  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently, ensuring timely and successful project delivery 
  • Client-Focused Approach- Demonstrated ability to build a relationship based on transparency and trust, prioritize client satisfaction, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions. Provide timely and effective response to client inquiries,  
  • Willingness to travel to various mining sites as required. 
  • Being adaptable to changes in client needs and market conditions. 

Experience 

  • 5- 10 years experience in geophysical applications and data analyses such as seismic hazard, microseismic monitoring, ambient noise tomography, and VSP.  
  • Field Experience: Hands-on experience conducting geophysical surveys and implementing monitoring systems in mining environments. 
  • Project Management: Experience managing projects from conception through implementation, including designing custom solutions and overseeing their deployment
