We are excited to confirm that 2024 closed with a new partner Kaynes Technology acquiring 54% of Sensonic, providing new growth capital to accelerate the deployment of fiber sensing to the global rail industry.

Pioneering new Technologies

Over the past five years, together with Frauscher Sensor Technology we have pioneered new applications for fiber sensing within the global rail industry. Sensonic has grown into the global leader in the exploitation of distributed fiber sensing across the rail industry delivering security, safety and operational enhancements.

Sintela has maintained its shareholding and continues to support Sensonic with the continued development and supply of underlying fiber sensing technology, delivering the Optical Sensing Units (OSU) and Operating System Software (OSS) with Sensonic delivering rail specific Industry Application Software and Service (IAS).
